Terms & Conditions

Last updated: April 2026

Please read these Terms carefully before using the SenseSafe platform. By accessing or purchasing a course, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms.
1

Introduction

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of this website and platform ("Platform"), operated by SenseSafe ("we", "us", "our").

By using our Platform, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use our Platform.

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.

For questions about these Terms, contact us at: hello@sensesafe.co.uk

About Our Platform

SenseSafe operates an online platform that:

  • Provides training and educational content for beauty, wellness, and fitness professionals
  • Offers certification upon completion of certain courses
  • Lists independent professionals for discovery by clients
  • Will in future facilitate bookings between clients and listed professionals (booking functionality is not yet live)

We are not a provider of beauty, fitness, wellness, or therapeutic services.

General information on this Platform is provided for informational purposes only.

3

Platform Availability

We do not guarantee that the Platform will be available at all times or free from errors. We may suspend, withdraw, or restrict access for maintenance, updates, or operational reasons without liability to you.

4

Marketplace Disclaimer

SenseSafe acts solely as an intermediary platform connecting clients with independent professionals.

We do not:

  • Provide the services listed on the Platform
  • Employ, direct, or control any listed professionals
  • Accept responsibility for the quality or outcome of services provided by professionals

Any agreement for services is directly between the client and the professional. SenseSafe is not a party to that agreement.

5

Professional Listings

Professionals listed on the Platform:

  • Are independent businesses or sole traders
  • Are responsible for the accuracy of their own profiles
  • Must hold appropriate qualifications, licences, and professional insurance for the services they offer
  • Are responsible for ensuring that any certifications they display remain valid and up to date

We take reasonable care in how the Platform is operated, but we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of professional listings. Listing on this Platform does not constitute our endorsement of any individual professional.

Training and Certification

6.1 What our training covers

SenseSafe training programmes are designed to build awareness and practical skills in neuro-aware professional practice. Our courses are educational programmes — they do not confer clinical qualifications or replace specialist professional training.

6.2 What certification means

Completion of a SenseSafe course and passing the associated assessment confirms that the course requirements have been met at the time of completion. It does not:

  • Guarantee competence, suitability, or outcomes in real-world client situations
  • Constitute a clinical, therapeutic, or professional licence
  • Replace existing professional qualifications held by the practitioner

Certification indicates completion of training only and should not be relied upon as a guarantee of service quality, safety, or suitability for any individual client.

6.3 CPD

Where our courses carry CPD certification, this is provided under The CPD Certification Service framework. It is the responsibility of the individual practitioner to confirm that our courses meet the CPD requirements of their specific professional body or insurer.

6.4 Scope of practice

Our training is designed for beauty, wellness, and fitness professionals working within the scope of their existing qualifications. Nothing in our training content should be interpreted as authorising practitioners to provide clinical, therapeutic, or medical advice or intervention.

Purchasing a Course — Your Consumer Rights

7.1 Distance selling and cooling-off

When you purchase a course on our Platform, you are buying digital content online. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you normally have a 14-day right to cancel.

However, when you complete your purchase, you will be asked to confirm that:

  • You agree to immediate access to the course content
  • You understand that by starting the course, you waive your 14-day cancellation right

If you do not start the course, your 14-day cancellation right remains in place and you may request a full refund within that period by contacting hello@sensesafe.co.uk.

7.2 Refunds after course access has begun

Once you have accessed the course content, refunds are not available except in the following circumstances:

  • The course content is materially faulty or not as described
  • We are unable to provide access to content you have paid for
  • You are legally entitled to a refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

If you believe any of the above apply, contact us at hello@sensesafe.co.uk and we will respond within 5 working days.

8

User Accounts

To access course content or practitioner features, you must create an account. You are responsible for:

  • Keeping your login credentials secure
  • All activity carried out under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorised use

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that breach these Terms or that we reasonably suspect are being used fraudulently or in bad faith.

9

Intellectual Property

All content on this Platform — including course materials, text, images, assessments, and certificates — is owned by or licensed to SenseSafe and is protected by UK copyright law.

You may not:

  • Copy, reproduce, or redistribute our course content without written permission
  • Use our materials for commercial training delivery without a separate licence agreement
  • Claim our content as your own in any context

Personal use of course materials for your own professional development is permitted within the scope of your purchase.

10

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SenseSafe shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from:

  • Your use of or inability to use the Platform
  • Actions taken or not taken by any listed professional as a result of completing our training
  • Reliance on any information provided on the Platform
  • Any service provided by an independent professional listed on the Platform

Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any matter where liability cannot be excluded under UK law.

Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected by these Terms.

11

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by posting the updated Terms on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We recommend reviewing this page periodically.
